Professional Musician
I began playing Drums professionally in 1991 when a classified ad led me to a small garage in bowness (calgary) and a hard working cover band called The Ravens. This ensemble soon evolved into The Household Saints, a group that enjoyed great local success from 1992 to 1999 with highlights that included a CD called Gravity (recorded at Sundae Sound) and some very memorable gigs, such as: a wrap up party for the cast and crew of Lonesome Dove (the TV Series), Pit Band for a Yuk Yuks comedy festival, and many a rowdy evening for the faithful down at the “Mission Bridge Brewing Coompany”.
Soon after that union ran it’s course, I joined the hard rock group My Mother Grooves (2001 -- 2003), a regular fixture on Calgary’s local bar scene frequenting well known establishments such as Morgan’s Pub, Buckinghams, The Rusty Cage, The King’s Head, and The Rose and Crown (Banff), just to name a few.
These days I’m performing around calgary with Brian Mason and The Arrivals, fleshing out a uniquely retro-rock sound in support of Brian’s CD “Almost There”, performing locally at venues like The Engineered Air Theatre (Calgary’s Epcor Center), Vern’s, and The Unicorn. Be sure to visit the website and find out where we’re playing next !
